Javad is the Lead Operations Research and Data Science Consultant at Enerytics. In addition to his consultancy role, Javad is an Assistant Professor of Data Science and Analytics at the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. He has received the prestigious Top Analytics Professor Award three times for his outstanding contributions to the field. Besides teaching graduate-level data science courses and conducting software boot camps, he has successfully supervised and led numerous data science and analytics projects in diverse industries such as legal, financial service, and healthcare. Javad earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he made significant contributions to the decentralized large scale mixed integer programming and optimization under uncertainty field by developing mathematical models and algorithms for large-scale decentralized unit commitment problems in an ARPA-E funded research project at the Advanced Computational Electricity Systems Lab at Georgia Tech.
